Frequently asked questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes. Every tool in the lab is free to use, with no subscription or paywall. Most use a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) model, so you only pay the underlying API providers (such as Anthropic, ElevenLabs, or Yutori) for your own usage. Pomodoro Eye Care needs no keys at all. Because the BYOK tools spend on your own provider account, set a spending cap with your provider and keep an eye on your usage.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
Most don't. TL;IN, Carousel;IN, TL;Listen, Pomodoro Eye Care, and Daily Brew need no account; open the link and you're in. CRM;IN is the exception: it uses a passwordless email sign-in (a magic link) so your outreach campaigns stay tied to you across sessions.
What does BYOK mean?
BYOK is short for "bring your own key." For the BYOK tools, you generate an API key from the underlying provider (Anthropic for Claude, ElevenLabs for voice, Yutori for scouts), paste it into the app, and it's stored locally in your browser, not on our servers. You pay the provider directly for your own usage, which is why we recommend setting a spending cap first.
What tech stack do the lab tools use?
The lab tools are browser-based web apps. TL;IN and Carousel;IN use Anthropic Claude. TL;Listen uses ElevenLabs for text-to-speech. Daily Brew uses Yutori scouts for curation. Pomodoro Eye Care is a zero-dependency timer with no AI at all. Most run entirely in your browser with no TwoSetAI backend. CRM;IN is the exception: it adds a passwordless sign-in and a small server step that looks up LinkedIn profiles using your key, which is never stored or logged.
Is my data stored on TwoSetAI servers?
For most tools, no. They store your API keys, inputs, and outputs locally in your browser, and send content directly to the underlying provider (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, or Yutori) using your own key. CRM;IN is the one tool with a light backend: it keeps a minimal sign-in session in a secure database, and routes profile lookups through a small server step using your key. Your key is never stored or logged, and your campaign data stays in your browser.
Which lab tool should I start with?
Start with the one that matches today's friction. Building a LinkedIn presence? TL;IN. Want your post to swipe well? Carousel;IN. Running outreach? CRM;IN. Drowning in articles and videos? TL;Listen. Screen-time eye strain? Pomodoro Eye Care. Want a better morning news habit? Daily Brew. They're independent, so use one or use them all.
Who builds these tools?
Angelina Yang, the sole operator of TwoSetAI and a fast.ai fellow. Each tool in the lab started as something she wanted for her own workflow or her audience and decided to share.
What kinds of tools are in Angelina's Lab?
A growing set, each solving a different daily friction: TL;IN turns articles, videos, and notes into LinkedIn posts in your voice, Carousel;IN turns a post into a swipeable PDF carousel, CRM;IN runs your LinkedIn outreach like a CRM with manual sending, TL;Listen turns articles and YouTube videos into podcast-style audio briefings, Pomodoro Eye Care is a focus timer with eye-rest exercises, and Daily Brew is a configurable AI morning digest you write in plain English. More are on the way.
