TwoSetAI Lab × AceTeam
Build;AI
Two weekends. Five modules. One deployed AI system.
A live cohort where you run a complete AI consulting engagement, from discovery to deployment. You finish with a real working system you can show in interviews and an experience you can talk about with confidence.
Join the waitlist →Early cohort: $500. We'll open enrollment when there's enough demand. Waitlist members get first access and a guaranteed seat in the first cohort.
A deployed system
Real code, real workflows, real data. Something you can show, not just describe.
A portfolio piece
Discovery findings, architecture, working prototype, and governance docs you can share with employers.
A clearer way to talk about AI
Speak about AI work with the specifics that matter: what's worth automating, what isn't, and what it tends to cost.
Free platform access
Hands-on time on AceTeam during the cohort, including the agent workbench and governance tooling.
The format
- 4 live sessions across 2 weekends, 2.5 hours each.
- 5 modules covering the full consulting arc.
- One mock client (a residential property management company in San Jose) carried across the cohort.
- Take-home work between sessions, about 60 to 90 minutes per session.
The five modules
-
Discovery
Walk into the client's reality before forming opinions. Process mapping, structured discovery interviews, opportunity ranking. You leave knowing what AI should and shouldn't touch.
-
Assessment
Prove the opportunity is real with data. Build a knowledge base, measure accuracy, model the cost. You finish with an assessment report you'd hand to a client.
-
Solution Design
Architect an agent team that works. Roles, handoffs, human-in-the-loop checkpoints. You design the system before building it.
-
Build & Deploy
Make it work. Convert your design into executable workflows, connect to real data, deploy on AceTeam's infrastructure.
-
Governance & Handoff
Make it safe to leave behind. Audit trails, cost tracking, data classification, handoff documentation. The part that makes AI consulting stick.
How Build;AI compares

Powered by AceTeam
Build;AI runs on the AceTeam platform, a sovereign AI platform built in Silicon Valley. You get free platform access throughout the cohort: agent workbench, visual workflow engine, distributed compute, audit trails, and cost tracking. The course and the platform were designed together, so the tools and the curriculum stay in step. The curriculum was refined through a Spring 2026 pilot with around 150 students at SJSU's College of Business.
Who Build;AI is for
- Engineers and analysts who want to position as practitioners, not generalists.
- MIS, business, and CS students who need a portfolio piece for AI-relevant roles.
- Career-switchers who understand AI conceptually but haven't shipped one.
- Recent grads who need a hands-on credential that signals “I can ship.”
Probably not the right fit if: you're looking for a broad survey of AI tools, you prefer reading about AI to building with it, or you can't make 4 live sessions across 2 weekends.

Frequently asked questions
What is Build;AI?
Build;AI is a live two-weekend cohort where you run a complete AI consulting engagement on a mock client, from discovery interviews through a deployed agent system and a governance handoff. It's the public mini-cohort version of a 20-week practicum running at San José State University's College of Business in Fall 2026, co-built by AceTeam.
What's the time commitment?
Four live sessions across two weekends, 2.5 hours each, plus 60 to 90 minutes of take-home work between sessions. About 14 to 16 hours total.
Do I need prior AI experience?
No. You should be comfortable on a laptop and curious about how AI gets built in real organizations. The course starts with the consulting problem, not the tools.
What exactly will I build?
A working AI agent system for the mock client (a residential property management company). By the end you'll have discovery findings, an assessment report, a solution architecture, a deployed prototype on AceTeam, and a governance handoff package.
Is the AceTeam platform free during the cohort?
Yes. You get a free account for the duration of the cohort and a window after to keep iterating on your project.
Can this count for university credit?
Not directly. The full 20-week version of this curriculum runs at SJSU's College of Business in Fall 2026 and does count for credit there. If your program is interested in adopting Build;AI as a course, reach out.
Who teaches the cohort?
Practitioners from AceTeam who built the platform and the curriculum. Live sessions are taught, not pre-recorded.
When does the first cohort run?
Dates aren't locked yet. We'll open enrollment when there's enough interest on the waitlist. Joining the waitlist puts you on the list for the first announced cohort.
What's the refund policy?
Attend session 1 first. If you decide Build;AI isn't for you, request a full refund before session 2 begins. After session 2, no refunds. If we cancel a cohort for any reason, you get a full refund regardless of timing.
What's TwoSetAI's role?
TwoSetAI Lab is the partner Lab for Build;AI. Angelina Yang runs TwoSetAI, hosts the TwoSetAI podcast, is a fast.ai fellow, and won the 2024 Anthropic Hackathon. She partnered with AceTeam to package and offer this public mini-cohort version of their curriculum.
Who is AceTeam?
AceTeam.ai is the company building the sovereign AI platform Build;AI runs on. Based in Silicon Valley. They designed the original 20-week curriculum, currently being adopted at SJSU's College of Business for Fall 2026.
