hi Inan. So nice to meet you again. Hello? Yeah, Angelina, thank you for having me here. Awesome. Yeah. welcome to the podcast of TwoSetAI. we would like to know a little bit more about you. So would you please share with our audience who you are, what you do, and tell us a little bit about your yourself.
sure. Um, I'm city in very sunny, uh, California, in my home as, I originally am from Shanghai, China. I was a serious entrepreneur. me and my husband founded the first cloud computing company, in Shanghai, back 2008 and three years ago, we moved back to Silicon Valley to start at our.
New chapter of our life. Currently I'm working as a full-time coach in the Bay Area. Usually I was always coaching the CEO and the founder and also executive team help to them, for the leadership resilience and also, I think [00:01:00] for a very positive, mental health, wellbeing, those status. meantime, I also are very connected with quite a bit, engineering and product, management teams.
So they're also thinking, What is their future? What is their next step? So I also do quite a bit of career coaching for them. Parttime. I'm also working in Stanford as a entrepreneur mentor for the students who want to build their venture either in Silicon Valley or back to their own country.
So that is just my background to try to leverage my 20 years. Plus global sales and marketing, work experience and 15 years entrepreneurship journey, to my coaching session to empower their people to achieve their dream. Thank you.
Wow. That's fascinating. It sounds like you, you are a serial entrepreneur yourself, and now you're at Stanford.
you're teaching and coaching, founders and also people who are, seeking career [00:02:00] progression as well. so I'm curious, how long have you been doing coaching?
Full time. Literally just, since I moved here, more than first three years. Yeah.
what brought you to coaching? And you don't wanna do more of the, building and building products and building a startup anymore.
Yeah, it is a very frequently asked question to me. How do you just,Become a coach. Yeah. From entrepreneur or from a sales, right? I think, coaching, to me really helps me to, go through the darkest moment in my entrepreneur journey.
And, also coaching will not have, Limits. That is very important, right? Because when you try to find a job, you always are being, blocked or you were scared of yourself about, oh, I'm going to this age. How can I find a job? Or how can I compete against those young people? And also, when you do fund a reason for a [00:03:00] new venture, are you always just, kind of you're scared about that?
Investors think, oh, you are that age. How can you work 18 hours? a day like I did before. So coaching is literally a job that you don't have, any limits by, your age and also whatever you are. It to give you lots of freedom. And also, I really appreciate my coach in my life.
Give me lots of, support. Support. It's not just only, professional support by coaching also gimme a very emotional support. Help me to, Just to realize who I am and what I really want to go, also, I think as a coach you will have more compassion to the human being because you don't have those judgment, right?
And you don't want to wear your, biased glasses to others, and it helps me to be more humble and, want to, uh, more people could [00:04:00] know, that we are all equal. we are all, wonderfully made and we should be respected.
Do you have any, coaching story that's changed your life from your coach?
have you ever got any advice from your coach that you feel like it's life changing? I.
uh, you know, since I moved to, Silicon Valley and I find my own coach and I just asked her, I said, why I always lack of energy. I try my heart to study and to learn and also try to give the people, my positive, energy and be passionate about the future, but I feel like I feel less and less energy.
Then she asked me the question, said, why are you coaching? Recent, recently. I said, oh, the people has a problem, right? People cannot find a job or people just get out of depression and also have a lot of,drama [00:05:00] recently, Or either just a separation or divorce. Yeah. They said that, you are a coach, right?
I say, yes, you're not a therapist
first. You have to you know, um. Confirm it. Confirm that, and also let other people know that you are a coach and what is your focus, right? If you are business coach or career coach, just to focus on this area, okay? I said I tried, and then she also ask if you always coaching the people who have less, you know, who are very weak, how can you keep yourself energetic because the people around you really matters.
Wow. That is a very strong words to me. Then I start, okay. It's not about, I try to judge my coaching or judge myself. It is all about the clients I'm choosing.
So for me, right now, my, client, [00:06:00] persona will be the people. She's good and she want to be better. Either, she just, uh, um, they just got, funded, and then they want to build a team and also, they want to, go GTM, go to the market to scale.
That is perfect. or, people already just, got a quite okay job in the company, in the corporate, but she think, how can I be better? How can I build that resilience for the future?
And also I coach quite a bit of public companies, founder, those entrepreneurs, they already, I call it, they already finished a very good milestone in their career, in their entrepreneurship like IPO.
So what are they gonna do? First, they want to keep their strong price, market price. And second, as you're thinking about what is the next chapter? And also some very well established entrepreneur, [00:07:00] they're thinking about what is my third chapter now? The third chapter is about how can I contribute back to the world?
So those thing I leverage quite a bit. design your life design thinking framework to help them to find that. So now I feel I'm more, um. I feel I'm empowered because my client, right? This drive, this drive. So they gimme lots of power to make me feel well. I have more passion, I have more energy. I can always just spread those positive around the world just a little bit.
Make the word brighter, make the word more beautiful. those things.
Energy is a very interesting, definition, a concept you're introducing. what do you mean by energy?
I think energy is more about, when you are, you can be very focused on doing something and your mind and your body are [00:08:00] very integrated.
They're all aligned, and you will not feel tired. You not feel tired. The tired is means it's not just about physically tired and your brain right. You'll not feel tired and you always can be focused on something. And I got some feedback from the friends say that even listen to what I'm talking. They think, oh, you are passionate and you are full of energy.
I say, I don't know. I just, that's my impression too. That's the way I'm talking, You're talking from your heart. And, you have lots of eye contact with others and you not just talking. You are really deep listening. So those things, they feel, they heard me and they say being heard and they say, see me?
And they say, also being seen. So those things, those interaction make them feel that, you are full of, passion. [00:09:00] You are energetic and other people look at you and they feel that you are really someone. Just try, be here, listen to them and give them suggestion.
As a coach, I would say that I'm not just give you suggestion, I just acting as a mirror. See some potential under the water.
It's interesting that you mentioned that the energy is something that you're seeking in your coaching when you're choosing coaching candidates. and you also mentioned that the difference between therapist and a coach.
Right. What's the difference? what are your thoughts?
I think a therapist is more like healing your, wound and they try to dig out the history and always just try to find why, what's the root cause bring you here? So something like, negative, some, post drummer, traumatic things.
and a coach is assuming. You are okay. [00:10:00] You are good. We only focus on right now in the future if I feel that, you are, you really need to see the therapist. I would just be very honest to tell you. Probably I think you should see the therapy first to make yourself, more comfortable right now. I'm coach. I'm not a therapist. I'm try not trying to heal you. Coach is more about see you and empower you. And, find the best thing of yourself.
Who do you think need a coach? First of all? I think every healthy people, normal people need a coach, right? You do just, see what happened to you in front the mirror every day.
Coach is more like a mirror, right? Right.
And why do we need a coach?
I think it just, it's a third party to see you, clearly without a judgment. A lot of [00:11:00] time we criticize ourself more than anybody. We needed some very neutral and well trained coach to tell us.
What do they see? What do they heard? And then we can just have more courage to explore inner self. I know there's a lot of tools. There's a lot of books, your brain is full of voice. There always a lot of voice there. If you wanna focus on something, another voice will come up. Come on, don't do that.
Always try to drag you back to your I'd say like your old self. It's always so many voices are how can you focus on the right, what is right, what the definition of right. You even don't know that, right? So that why you need a coach and a coach. Only focus on the potential, the good side of yourself.
I would say that there's an angel and evil [00:12:00] living our body, right? And the coach only try to feed the angel.
So you feed the client more, more energy, basically, more positive energy,
I'm not feeding them. They have that energy already.
Mm-hmm.
I just let them strive, let them see themselves. Lots of people say, I really want to, uh, your support or your mentor about my communication. Because I can see you on the stage and you are, on the spot. You could be so confident. How can I do that? I told them it need a practice. I'm, I was not bored to be like that. it's just need a practice.
It's not just a one time thing. Everybody. I think most people are equally made. We are not those genius. Like a top zero zero, 0.0001, right? most people are just,[00:13:00] wonderfully made. I say that originally, but wonderfully made. So how can you find your potential is more important, and don't expect your coach transform you from introverted to extrovert.
Don't have a I realistic expectation because even you know, introverts also could be a good CEO, could be a good leader. we just want to see what is your potential? What is your, advantage? Helped you to achieve your dream, achieve your goal. That's the things. Then I will also work with my client to visit.
What is your practical dream? Sometimes the dream is big, right? The dream is too,far away, Too much. I would say that let's build a ladder. Just step by step, we have those milestone, let's make a small goal, [00:14:00] not just, ah, I wanna achieve that dream. Let's make a small goal.
Don't, make that, I wanna change the word like I used to do. Just, always talking about that, right? You're talk with your time. You're not really execute. Every step. Right now, I just wanna change myself to be humble and to listen to other, to respect all the opinions, all the people, and try to find the most beautiful part of themselves and let them see that.
How do you do it? Do you have a framework
yes. Yes. for me, for you just really want to, unleash the potential of your career. I usually do those eight questions.
For example, the first is always who you are, right? People say, oh, I don't wanna do who you are. I already did a lot of therapeutic, things.
I already learned a lot of things. Yeah, you learned a lot. Did you really change yourself? practice that. So I [00:15:00] use, quite a bit design thinking framework, to find, who they are is as a very practical goal. It's not a dream, it is a very practical goal. So what you can, start to take the action plan after this session.
So I call that. So found first, who you are.
The second is what I have. To achieve that, you have to, sort it all your, expertise, experience a network and resource around that goal.
And the third follow up question will be what you are lack of to be practical, right? okay, I want achieve that, what I still need to work on.
So you list it.
Then the fourth is very important, who can help you? Try to find people who can help you to, make it up. those, uh, disadvantages, also help you to be [00:16:00] closer to your goal. Yeah. It's harder for people to help you achieve the goal, only just getting closer.
So find these five people. Why this five? I don't know. It's just, from, Peter Sage, the book right? Said you need to find five people to do that. And I literally just practiced that years and years. I think that's very powerful and it is a dynamic to find five people. It help you to revisit your network.
Lots of people, add, you know, the people on WeChat, on LinkedIn, then no follow up. Even you got a no get refuse. What is next?
So people, oh, he refused me. I got a no. Then okay, I stop connecting. Then you just lost the connection, right? You already spend the time to the event. You build that connection.
Then said they lost it. That's a waste your time and energy. So I would say that [00:17:00] who, how can you build your network and you need to sort it out? The, high priority, medium and low around your goal. It sounds very, very practical, but it really helps you to make your social network be more effective.
How do I, so let's say if I wanna, follow your advice on finding five, people who can help me. Yeah. What does that really mean? Sounds like it's, finding some five people in my network. First of all, these are people in my network, right? Who should I go talk to? who are they?
Yeah.
So first of all, what is your goal?
Let's say I want to achieve, let's say 5 million ARR goal for a product, assuming I'm a product building founder.
Yeah. So what is, uh, your product, what kind of problem it is solving,
no product. just making up things. So let's say we're [00:18:00] making a AI product,a different type of, ai SDR for sales generation tool. Let's say we are building another version of it, and we wanna achieve 5 million ARR.
Let's put a timeline maybe in the next two years.
So I just want to just, remind you, this one step by step. The first question is who you are is that making that a product that is your dream? Is your just currently you only focus on doing something.
I'm not sure. And then you need to sort out what do you have and what do you are lack of, so all the network, all the people are trying to help you to close to that goal. So you need to know what I don't have. Lots of people have that sense of lacking. Always. I wanna more, more.
Does that really match your goal or not?
That's a different question. let's assume that I do want this and I'm really interested in building this. [00:19:00] Yeah. but let's say I'm a AI engineer, so
What I'm lacking is someone who understands sales really well.
That is yes. And the industry, you cannot sell to anybody if you are B2B or you are, B2C, right? They said always, you have your persona there to find your ideal persona and find the people who are in inside industry who can give you the insights to, help you to go to market or even just to find the PMF.
That is very important. That is what we always, mentored at, Stanford's entrepreneurship class talking about that because a lot of students said, I don't have any, work experience and you just gimme a project to do it. I said, where are your friends? Right in that industry and you feel that you are not really hate that because it's a, you know, class project.
You still need to spend three months to work on that. [00:20:00] That's very important. That is the network can help you.
So my, so do you think my thought process is on the right track? so we still have to go through the goals and understanding who I am, what I'm good at, what I'm lacking, and then find that potential network.
Um, right. Help me. Right, right.
Yeah. let's say if my goal is building a product. Mm-hmm. Should I think about the ICPs, the customer profiles, before this step? when I'm iterating a product at the early stage, I may not clearly know who this.
Customer profile is right. a lot of early stage founders may struggle.
Yeah. So that's the mindset shifting. in Stanford, we literally just, try to educate our students, always find the problem first. Oh, imagine.... Product or solution you can [00:21:00] provide, you're shifting your, mindset. Fall in love with problem, not to yourself, not to your product, not your solution.
Okay? My premise is completely wrong. Now, based on what I said, I probably should not make that product until I probably, but I can explore, right? I can talk with the sales person, understand the pain point more, understand that ICP customer profile better, then come back for the goal.
I think the goal is really aligned, especially when I, my coaching, clients is,they have at least five years of working experience. They already build up their network and expertise and also experience and thinking about what is the next step, right?
say, I think, uh, they already, know them more or know them better. Then the junior, level people. So once they could just, be [00:22:00] open and willing to, to improve themselves, right?
It's not just iterating your product, you iterating yourself. I said, oh, is, evolution. Evolution, right? So those kind of,I think that. That the community think you need to coach, help them to, find what is their passion and what is they're really good at. So that is who I am.
It's really lot of question is about what are you really good at and what are you really passionate about If you don't have those experience, it's very hard.
For me to, to work with you, find out your potential. So my persona, my coaching persona is about those community have, experience and as they can try to dig out. Okay. That is a really like to do once, like people, especially people, after thirties, they just [00:23:00] don't want to do some things they really like.
I think in Silicon Valley you never lack of the friend who is from top tier. university And is a PhD. I feel like I'm surrounded by so many PhD. So what you really like that the key thing so can align your passion and your time, your investment to do something.
Lots of my client said that their passion is about serving others. I try to make some communities where, say I try to make, the consultant life be more efficient. I try to make the financial work, you know, uh, not those things. I say, okay, leverage ai, but AI is just very genetic words.
What is the real. situation scenario for them to working on, based on your previous work experience, based on your insights about this industry.
So [00:24:00] those questions, I will, literally just, question after question will ask my clients. Let them to find out, oh, that is the community that I feel I have those passion I want to serve.
Because I'm one of them before
I see the problem. Let's see the problem first, then find a solution together. That's the thing. Not I'm good. I'm so genius. I have the AI tool. I want to help you. Feels like you are like a hammer. And they always try to find, you know, to do that. Yeah. So that's the other way around.
The follow up question. Find the five people, right? You also need to find what you can give to them.
How should I think about that? So it is all about exchange, value, exchange. You cannot always just take I feel Silicon Valley is the cultural of giving. [00:25:00] You always think what I can give to others, give it to the community.
Just give first. It is like a Greek slam say that do the good deeds and through to the ocean. Yeah. You just give first and always because the whole universal is equal. So always give something back so it keep on doing that. So keeps that in your mind and what you can give to those five.
people you think they can help you getting closer to your goal, that across how can you find out their true needs, right? This also like empathy part. It's all around, Design thinking framework. What's the empathy part? Try to find out. Try to know more about them. Not just a superficial exchange of interests.
It's more about how can you really emphasize them, know their needs, connection deeper and deeper. [00:26:00] That is what you are willing to give
The question next is about what can I sacrifice? Because that is a take both of us, a lot of courage. We always, stuck ourself in unhappiness because we want everything.
We want everything, right? We have so many, okay, so many baggage, right? Put ourselves and a lot of monkeys on your back. So it's yeah.
It's like a soul seeking journey. With the code
sounds to me, right? So how, what can you focus on still? I will just, eyes on your goal. So what, can you put something aside and don't ask you to give them up just to focus on your goal?
What? Can you put something aside side for the time being. So different people gimme [00:27:00] different answer, but there's always something, whatever, how hard. I agree on you for the question, right? Can I really just not, doing that, can you just cannot just put them aside. They said,no, I really want this.
There's something, okay, this is your core engine. Something you don't. try your heart, try your life to keep, actually, it is your energy. So it is the answer to the question.
The next question is, what is your consistent motivation? Something you want to hold even. some people say, I wanna make money, right?
Whatever. I just wanna make money. Lots and lots of money, right? It's not right or wrong answer during my coaching session. It is all about finding yourself, finding your motivation, to achieve your [00:28:00] goal.
how's the motivation, consistent motivation, different from your goals?
The goal is what I want to, a manifest.
Something there. The picture there, the motivation is about that. My engine.
Oh, so something propels you to get there.
Yes. That helps you. Yeah. If you got a lot of, for, challenges. Think about your motivation, right? It give you gas. What's an example?? What's an example?
For example, for me, uh, I think,
I want to build a faith-driven entrepreneurship community. that is the meaning of my life.
but
as a coach I will not be so stubborn to, I want to change you. You must go to that. That is manipulate, that is your own ego. I can tell the difference.
So you keep that, sense in your mind. So know yourself more. [00:29:00] Yeah.
So as a coach, I think it is a mutual way.
Is there any more questions after that one? Yes. Oh yeah. The last question, is that real?
Is that real? What does that mean?
That means lots of people very good at telling story. Even I'm a storytelling coach, right? So I will revisit the previous seven questions, right?
Seven questions and go through with you.
Is that real?
Yeah. At that time I would just, really just watch your body reaction and your facial impression and,and also see, what's you gonna just say or feedback.
And that last question, quite a few people say that, it's not what I want.
And then they revisit the whole thing. Start from the beginning, right.
You think I kind of, this is the story my parents wanted me to [00:30:00] do, and I convinced myself for so many years.
How common is this?
Oh, 50 50. 50% of the people.
Yeah. Highly educated people. Yeah.
Yeah. So living other people's, expectations.
so your coaching session is also self-discovery, so you can find yourself there.
yes. And also a very practical career goal. it's not just a kind of a meditation, find yourself inner peace.
It's about it. Combine everything together. What is your career goal? What is next chapter of life? What is the action you're gonna take after our session?
You just told me that to ask myself, is it real, what I just told you. Okay. it's not real. I don't wanna build a AI SDR company and I don't care about going to the 5 million, ARR for that company.
so now what? what would you say to
me? Yeah. So I wanna let him [00:31:00] know. Why do you say that story in the beginning?
It's, everybody's expectation around me. Yeah, exactly what you said. but okay, I can let it go. But then what?
Let's do that again. What if now I'm lost because I've been living under other people's expectation and now you ask me that.
Okay. I can throw that baggage away, but I'm lost. I don't know what my passion is. I don't know what I wanna do. Do you have clients like that?
Most people try to wear a facade during the, this. this session. Once they realize that they're telling me the story, which make them feel good in front of me, and also try to, lie to themselves.
But, when it is all, being disclosed as a bubble, I think it is a good lesson to them. [00:32:00] It is a very successful lesson to them. So the life you choose to live in those lines, you choose to live in other people's judgment or you really choose to, live in, your own freedom.
It's not good or bad, no. It's just about the responsibility you need to take. You want live in other people's expectation, that's fine. Right. Most Asian, Asian kids living parents expectation for so many years, right? I know me. Yeah, that's totally
fine. Then. Live up with that.
That's a good advice. what's the percentage of people you're seeing are dare to bust their own bubble?
Like I admit that, okay, I've been lying to myself and I don't want this. Maybe they do want it, maybe they want it, like you said, that's okay. But let's say, is there any people who actually burst their own [00:33:00] bubbles?
I think of 50 50.
50% people. That's higher. Yeah. 50%. They wanna change. They wanna make a change.
What would you tell them how to change?
Action plan? Because each session find just, you have your goal, set your goal what you really want. Find the people who can help you, who can build you up. That's so true. Not just, oh, apply for Harvard or Stanford. No. Back to the school to learn something. No, I.
It's all about find the people around you who can help me get their mentorship, get advice, right? It is also different mentor and, coach is all different, right? If you wanna see the therapist, go see it, right?
I just wanna live a fulfilling life, be happy and have my own freedom. by my own definition, [00:34:00] not others.
yeah, the condition is
the people want to be happy. If they think I'm living, okay, I'm okay. I can live with that stress. Everybody's stressed. Nobody's perfect, right? You cannot, oh,no. You should be happier. That is our own ego. Our own ego, because we are judging their life.
I'm judging myself.
Maybe you're right. what is the right career path or life path in your opinion?
I feel like every step, all counters. I really embrace my, history, right? As a sales, I'm really proud of being at sales and I don't regret being. Entrepreneur. It's a love and hate journey. I'm not regretting that.
And, but now I love the present. Yeah, I can speak, [00:35:00] what I learned and I could be humble enough to open my mind to learn from others. No matter how old they are, I think lots of people, their wisdom was sharing. And if you can catch that, because you need to have the, same Okay. Same frequency so that you can catch that.
what's your advice for people in general who are Seeking a path for themselves. It could be, your client, profile who have years of experience, seeking changes or seeking progression or. Maybe more junior people who are fresh graduate. Like your class.
Students doing a project. Or who are more, senior public CEOs. everybody are seeking something. if you were to give them, give everybody one tip, what would it be?
Find a coach.
Yeah. [00:36:00] Yeah. Brave enough to check yourself in the mirror, in front of mirror.
Have any of the clients tell you that actually looking in the mirror is a very hard thing?
They're not ready. That means they're not ready. Yeah.
When do I know I'm ready? And you mean ready?
Ready for what?
Ready for coach and the coach coachee to build up this, relationship. most of people think they're good enough, right? They're very confident about themselves. I don't need a coach, right? You are not El Musk level person. You cannot mentor me, right?
They always just, mistake the mentorship and a coach and a therapist, together. So as a culture, just literally just a mirror. For me, I think, Silicon Valley style coach should a combined mentor and a sponsor together you can. Open sponsor means that because I'm [00:37:00] very well connected in the investor and school and also entrepreneurs, so I should help them to connect, to connect them, open the door for him.
I could say I have, so many years of being A-C-E-O-I know, what is the boss want to here and what kind of, staff we want to hire. It's good for me to even to, help them go through the interview.
How do I know that I'm ready to find a coach?
Do you wanna be better?
Yeah. So
That's the first step, yeah. Okay.
Awesome. That's really interesting what you were sharing. I wanna switch gear a little bit and ask about, what you think about the current job market is doing.
what are we gonna do like with all these, FOMO of not understanding or adopting AI versus, on the other hand, like fear of being replaced by [00:38:00] ai?
And I always say that a focus on the humanity. Some, something cannot be replaced by AI is our humanity, right? Our connections through our emotion. So interpersonal skills you need to build
AI cannot help you. And second is about building up your market value. You are not, you, were not stuck in one position for the future.
Always think about what is my market value, right? It's not just, measured by your, salary. That is a good one of the measurement. It's not just only on salary. It's about how many, friends you made. And also very important how healthy you are, right? You work so hard, try to afford the most expensive, the bed in the hospital.
Right to find the best doctor or nursery team around you. [00:39:00]
Go. While you were talking about this, like I just recovered from my sickness. I told you
why. so those things, for me, I'm not a big advocat for a life work balance, since I'm an entrepreneur and I'm more about, uh, work, work balance because life is a work, work is for a better life.
So It's all integrated. don't separate them. but how can you make yourself healthy, not just physically, also mentally. So that will be, is really the key things and also your relationship. in my session, there always a question to the client. So try to send me the, the timetable, how much time you spend on work, study your health, your relationship, and the play 4 things.
For function, how you allocate your time there, despite the, resting time, right? The sleeping time. For example, if you have [00:40:00] 14 hours, right? How you just allocate that for most people will put their time to work, study, and play, and then less, the less people put it in health, some people will put in the relationship.
For family and for friend.
Do you feel there's a, a recommended, like attribution for the four categories?
There's no recommendation. it, that is just to make you be aware of. Reality. That is a real reality. If you put zero efforts on your health, zero efforts on your health, don't blame others. Oh, I'm getting sick again. Don't blame others. Don't blame the weather.
you wanna really change yourself? practice that. Maybe start from 10 minutes, 30 minutes at the start, right?
So those things just self-awareness practice, I would strongly recommend. [00:41:00]
You were talking about market value, like how to evaluate ourselves, right? Is there any other aspects other than like health and your salary and things like that. The
salary of friends network, right?
How much do you contribute to the society, to the community outside The work is also very important.
What do we do with this information? Once I understand, okay, I'm aware of like where I am, and then what do I do with it?
Contribute to others. Lots of people didn't know who they are, but I can say most people didn't know who they are.
I would've totally
agree with you.
Yeah. Just even share the journey. Find yourself, discover yourself. It's really worthy, it's inspiring.
what's the first step? to contribute and then to, to move forward, like what you said become better and not get stuck.[00:42:00]
Yeah. discover yourself first, not just, oh, I gotta go before knowing yourself. Know your advantage.
and know who you can rely on. The supporting system is very important. Then after you discover yourself, you really take action. Then every step really comes. Then keep on sharing. Sharing to others, sharing your struggling, sharing your frustration, not just sharing your happiness. That is a show off, not just truly sharing.
People want to see the vulnerability, right? The power of vulnerability. Yeah.
how do tell something about your own vulnerability? Can you give an example?
I would say that, I'm not a successful entrepreneur. I didn't exit. 15 years, entrepreneurship,
[00:43:00] But I learned a lot and I build a very good network, who really support me. And, your life is colorful. You are the one who holds that pen, color pen to draw the picture, right?
everybody could live out their freedom. Let them shine and they feel energy. When you do those things, you will naturally try to share because you are shining.
You are shining, right? You strive. People can feel that like people benefit, not just by what you said. It's all about what you do.
Yeah, I can imagine being more honest to yourself helps with having less fear of sharing anything that you're vulnerable with, like about yourself.
Right?
Awesome. Inan
Thank you so much for getting on a podcast. it is [00:44:00] really good for us to understand a little bit more about coaching. You gave us a lot of idea of how possible we can iterate ourselves with the help of someone who's very objective.
I think what coaching is, it's not like teaching math. It's not something that we have a lot of experience, but all the good athletes have coaches.
Right? True. Why shouldn't just being a human learning to be a better human and becoming a better version of yourself. Right, right. Without one,
Yeah.
Thank you, Inan. Thank you. Next time.
