TwoSetAI Lab — Terms of Use & Privacy Notice

Effective: April 9, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all tools made available through the TwoSetAI Lab (collectively, the "Lab Tools"), including but not limited to:

By accessing or using any Lab Tool, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Notice set forth below. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Lab Tools.

The Lab Tools are personal projects developed and maintained by Angelina Yang under the TwoSetAI brand. In these Terms, "we," "us," "our," and "the Company" refer collectively to Angelina Yang and TwoSetAI. "You" and "your" refer to you, the individual accessing or using any Lab Tool.

1. Nature of the Services

The Lab Tools are provided free of charge as personal, non-commercial projects. They are not commercial products or professional services. No service-level agreement, uptime guarantee, or maintenance commitment of any kind is provided or implied.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or permanently remove any Lab Tool, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you or any third party.

2. Bring Your Own API Keys (BYOK)

Certain Lab Tools require you to provide your own third-party API keys (e.g., Anthropic, Yutori, ElevenLabs) in order to function. By providing such keys, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for obtaining your own API keys from the respective third-party providers;
  • You bear all costs associated with your API usage, including any charges incurred through the Lab Tools, and we shall have no obligation to reimburse, refund, or otherwise compensate you for such costs under any circumstances;
  • You are solely responsible for configuring any spending limits, rate limits, or other usage controls with each provider;
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your API keys.

Applicability of third-party terms. By using your own API keys within a Lab Tool, you are also bound by the terms of service, acceptable use policies, and privacy policies of each respective third-party provider, including but not limited to Anthropic, Yutori, ElevenLabs, and Supadata. Compliance with those providers' terms is your responsibility. A violation of any underlying provider's terms shall constitute a violation of these Terms.

3. Inputs, Outputs, and Your Responsibilities

"Inputs" means any data, content, URLs, text, queries, prompts, or other materials that you submit to or through a Lab Tool. "Outputs" means any content generated and returned to you by a Lab Tool, including but not limited to summaries, audio briefings, digest items, translations, and any other AI-generated materials.

Responsibility for Inputs

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary for us and the underlying third-party AI and scouting providers to process the Inputs you submit. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of your Inputs, including their compliance with all applicable intellectual property, privacy, defamation, and other laws.

Ownership and use of Outputs

As between you and us, and subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers, you retain ownership of the Outputs generated through the use of your own API keys. We claim no ownership interest in your Outputs.

However, because Outputs are generated by third-party AI models from content we do not control, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Outputs may not always be accurate and may contain material inaccuracies, hallucinations, fabricated information, or biased content, even when such Outputs appear confident, detailed, or well-reasoned;
  • You shall not rely on any Output without independently verifying its accuracy, completeness, suitability, and legality for your intended purpose;
  • Outputs are not unique or exclusive to you; different users submitting similar Inputs may receive similar or identical Outputs;
  • You are solely responsible for any use, publication, redistribution, decision, or action taken in reliance on any Output.

4. Handling of API Keys

The following describes how your API keys are processed within the Lab Tools:

  • API keys are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not transmitted to or retained on our servers;
  • When you initiate a content-generation request (e.g., digest, summary, audio briefing), your keys are transmitted via HTTPS to our serverless functions solely for the purpose of completing that single request;
  • Our serverless functions retain your keys only for the duration of a single request and discard them immediately upon completion;
  • We do not store, log, index, or share your API keys at any time;
  • You may remove all locally stored data, including API keys, by clearing your browser's site data for the applicable Lab Tool domain.

Additional detail regarding the handling of API keys is provided in each Lab Tool's in-app privacy disclosure.

5. Newsletter and Communications

Certain Lab Tools may offer a newsletter subscription during the signup process. Newsletter subscription is entirely optional, is not a condition of access to or use of any Lab Tool, and is unchecked by default. If you elect to subscribe, you may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter communication.

6. Third-Party Content and External Links

Certain Lab Tools display, reference, or link to content originating from external third-party websites and services. For example:

  • Daily Brew surfaces web content discovered by Yutori, a third-party scouting service;
  • TL;Listen processes articles and videos from URLs you provide or that are received via cross-tool connections.

No verification of external content

We do not control, endorse, verify, or accept responsibility for the safety, accuracy, legality, completeness, or factual correctness of any external content, including but not limited to:

  • External websites linked from or surfaced by any Lab Tool;
  • Articles, videos, or other materials fetched from external sources;
  • AI-generated summaries derived from such external content;
  • URLs discovered by third-party scouting services, which do not perform phishing, malware, or safety screening.

Your assumption of risk

When you access any external link from a Lab Tool, you are leaving TwoSetAI properties and visiting a third-party website over which we have no control. You acknowledge that such external content may be inaccurate, misleading, biased, harmful, or malicious, and that you access such content at your sole risk and discretion.

Technical safeguards

We implement certain technical measures to mitigate risk, including server-side HTML sanitization, plain-text rendering of external content, rel="noopener noreferrer" attributes on outbound links, and URL validation with protocol whitelisting. These measures are designed to reduce exposure to script-injection attacks but do not verify the truthfulness, safety, or legality of the underlying content. A properly sanitized link may still direct you to a harmful or deceptive website.

Limitation of responsibility for external content

We shall not be liable for any harm, loss, or damage—financial, reputational, emotional, or otherwise—arising from or related to your interaction with any external content or third-party website accessed through a Lab Tool. The Lab Tools serve as technical conduits for content from sources we do not control. You are solely responsible for evaluating the trustworthiness and safety of any external content you access.

Without limiting the foregoing, this includes but is not limited to harm arising from:

  • Malicious or phishing URLs surfaced by third-party scouting services;
  • AI-generated summaries derived from inaccurate, misleading, or fabricated source material;
  • Content that constitutes or contains hoaxes, satire, propaganda, misinformation, or other harmful material.

7. Intellectual Property of Source Content

Content displayed in the Lab Tools, including article summaries, audio briefings, and digests, is generated by third-party AI models from publicly available web sources. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of such content complies with the copyright, terms of use, and other rights of the original content owners.

Without limitation, you shall not:

  • Republish or redistribute AI-generated summaries of paywalled or access-restricted content;
  • Use AI-generated audio briefings or summaries to compete commercially with the original content source;
  • Disregard the robots.txt directives, terms of service, or licensing restrictions of any source website.

We make no representations regarding the intellectual property status of any Output and disclaim all liability arising from your use or redistribution of such content.

8. Cross-Tool Data Transfers

Certain Lab Tools may transfer limited data to other Lab Tools via URL parameters (for example, Daily Brew may pass an article URL to TL;Listen for audio processing). When such a cross-tool transfer occurs:

  • The transfer is initiated solely by your affirmative action (e.g., clicking a designated button);
  • The data transferred is limited to public URLs and short descriptive text;
  • No private data, API keys, or personally identifiable information is exchanged between Lab Tools;
  • Each receiving Lab Tool processes the transferred data independently using your own API keys.

We do not store, log, or retain any record of cross-tool data transfers.

9. Service Limitations

The Lab Tools are intentionally limited in scope and functionality. You acknowledge and accept the following limitations:

  • No cross-device synchronization. Your data is stored locally in a single browser instance and is not synchronized across devices;
  • No data export functionality. There is no built-in data export mechanism, although you may extract localStorage data manually via your browser's developer tools;
  • No automated data deletion endpoint. You may clear your browser's site data to remove locally stored information. To request deletion of your name and email from our signup records, contact us as described in Section 16;
  • No service-level agreement. The Lab Tools are provided without any guarantee of availability, uptime, performance, or continuity;
  • Discontinuation without notice. Any Lab Tool may be modified, suspended, or permanently discontinued at any time without prior notice.

10. Acceptable Use

You shall not use the Lab Tools to:

  • Process, submit, or generate content for which you lack the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions;
  • Create, distribute, or facilitate the distribution of spam, harassment, defamatory content, or any content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction;
  • Generate or distribute content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party;
  • Place unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure or the infrastructure of any third-party provider;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, crawl, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, data, or proprietary information from our servers or infrastructure;
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any technical measure we use to protect the Lab Tools, enforce usage limits, or maintain security;
  • Impersonate any person, entity, or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • Violate the terms of service, acceptable use policies, or other agreements of any underlying third-party provider;
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, ordinance, or court order.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to restrict, suspend, rate-limit, or terminate access to any Lab Tool if we reasonably believe that a violation of these Terms or any applicable law has occurred or is occurring.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

12. Limitation of Liability

Without limiting the foregoing, this exclusion of liability applies to, but is not limited to, damages arising from or related to:

  • API charges or other costs incurred through your own third-party API keys, regardless of amount or cause;
  • Loss of data, time, productivity, revenue, or business opportunities caused by tool downtime, errors, discontinuation, or defects in third-party provider services;
  • Issues arising from external content or links, including but not limited to:
    • Malicious, fraudulent, or phishing URLs surfaced by third-party scouting services;
    • Misleading, false, or fabricated summaries generated by AI from external sources;
    • Harm resulting from accessing external websites linked from any Lab Tool;
    • Misinformation, hoaxes, propaganda, or other harmful content surfaced through the Lab Tools;
  • Cross-tool data transfers between Lab Tools (e.g., Daily Brew to TL;Listen);
  • Any decision, action, or omission taken in reliance on AI-generated content, summaries, audio briefings, or other Outputs;
  • Third-party API outages, service degradation, policy changes, or behavioral changes (Anthropic, Yutori, ElevenLabs, Supadata, or any other provider);
  • Unauthorized access to, disclosure of, or misuse of your API keys, however caused;
  • Any other consequences arising from your use of or reliance on the Lab Tools in any context.

Illustrative examples (not exhaustive)

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the TwoSetAI Parties shall have no liability whatsoever in connection with, arising out of, or related to the following scenarios:

  • API charges incurred through your own API keys, regardless of the amount, frequency, or whether such charges resulted from unintended, excessive, or automated use of the Lab Tools;
  • Any harm, loss, or damage resulting from your interaction with a URL surfaced by a third-party scouting service (e.g., Yutori), including but not limited to phishing, malware, or fraudulent websites;
  • Any decision, action, or omission taken in reliance on an AI-generated summary, audio briefing, or other Output, including where such Output is derived from inaccurate, misleading, or fabricated source material;
  • Any loss of data, missed opportunities, or business interruption caused by downtime, unavailability, or discontinuation of any Lab Tool, whether scheduled or unscheduled;
  • Any unauthorized access to, disclosure of, or misuse of your API keys, whether resulting from your own storage practices, a browser vulnerability, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control.

Aggregate liability cap

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the TwoSetAI Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your Inputs or any content you submit to or through the Lab Tools;
  • Your use of any Outputs produced by the Lab Tools, including any publication, republication, redistribution, or action taken in reliance on such Outputs;
  • Your violation of these Terms, the Privacy Notice set forth below, or any underlying third-party provider's terms of service or acceptable use policy;
  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or the rights of any third party, including but not limited to intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights;
  • Your use of the Lab Tools in any manner not expressly authorized by these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to any or all Lab Tools at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason or no reason, including if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or that your continued use may expose us or any third party to risk or liability.

You may discontinue your use of the Lab Tools at any time. Upon any termination or discontinuation of use, Sections 3, 7, 11, 12, 13, 17, and 18 shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

15. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Effective" date at the top of this document shall reflect the date of the most recent revision. Where we make material changes, we will use reasonable efforts to notify affected users through the Lab Tools or on this page. Your continued use of any Lab Tool following the Effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Lab Tools.

These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Lab Tools shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Lab Tools shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California. You and we each irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and exclusive venue of such courts for the purpose of adjudicating any such dispute.

Any claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Lab Tools must be filed within one (1) year after the date on which such claim or cause of action arose, or it shall be permanently barred.

18. General Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

No waiver. The failure of either party to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

No assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations hereunder, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time without notice or consent.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice set forth below, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Lab Tools and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral, with respect to the subject matter hereof.

No agency. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or fiduciary relationship between you and us.

Effective: April 9, 2026

P1. Categories of Personal Data Collected

When you register for or sign up to use any Lab Tool, we collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity data: your name;
  • Contact data: your email address;
  • Preference data: your newsletter subscription preference (opt-in or opt-out; defaults to opt-out).

This data is recorded in a secure database maintained by the Company.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

  • Your API keys (which are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage);
  • Your Inputs or Outputs (which are processed in-memory by ephemeral serverless functions and are not logged or persisted);
  • Your IP address for tracking or profiling purposes;
  • Behavioral analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, or similar telemetry;
  • Any data through Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or other third-party analytics platforms.

Your browser may temporarily cache static assets (CSS, JavaScript, images) as part of normal web operation. Each Lab Tool may also store user preferences and settings in its own localStorage on your device. This locally stored data does not leave your browser.

P2. Purposes of Processing

We use the personal data described above for the following purposes:

  • To maintain awareness of who is using the Lab Tools (product analytics);
  • To deliver the TwoSetAI newsletter to users who have affirmatively opted in;
  • To respond to support inquiries, legal notices, or data-related requests;
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations, enforce these Terms, and prevent abuse or misuse of the Lab Tools.

P3. Disclosure of Personal Data

We disclose your personal data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use the following third-party service providers to operate the Lab Tools. Each provider's own privacy policy governs their handling of your data:
    • Vercel — web hosting and serverless function execution;
    • Google Workspace — storage of signup records (name, email, newsletter preference);
    • Substack — newsletter delivery (applicable only if you opted in).
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose your data where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or court order, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Angelina Yang, TwoSetAI, or any third party.
  • With your consent. We may disclose your data to additional parties if you explicitly direct us to do so.

No sale of personal data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data as those terms are defined under applicable laws and regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments.

P4. Data Retention

We retain your name, email address, and newsletter preference for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in Section P2, including to operate the Lab Tools, deliver the newsletter (if applicable), respond to inquiries, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us as described in Section 16 above.

API keys are not retained by us at any time. They reside exclusively in your browser's localStorage and are used only in-memory for the duration of a single serverless function invocation.

P5. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law and depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • Right of access — the right to request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and to obtain a copy of such data;
  • Right of correction — the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • Right of deletion — the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions;
  • Right of objection or restriction — the right to object to or request restriction of certain processing activities;
  • Right to withdraw consent — the right to withdraw your newsletter subscription consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to withdrawal;
  • Right of portability — the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, where technically feasible.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at angelina.magr@gmail.com. You may also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter communication. You may remove locally stored data (including API keys and settings) by clearing your browser's site data for the applicable Lab Tool domain.

P6. Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include the use of HTTPS encryption for all network communications, client-side-only storage of API keys, and ephemeral serverless functions that do not persist keys or content beyond a single request.

However, no method of electronic transmission or data storage is entirely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee and do not warrant the absolute security of any information transmitted to or stored by the Lab Tools.

P7. Children's Privacy

The Lab Tools are not directed to, and are not intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data to any Lab Tool, please contact us at angelina.magr@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to investigate and delete such data.

P8. International Data Transfers

The Lab Tools are operated from the United States. If you access the Lab Tools from a jurisdiction outside the United States, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your personal data in the United States and in other jurisdictions where our third-party service providers operate, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction of residence.

P9. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Notice at any time. The "Effective" date at the top of this Notice shall reflect the date of the most recent revision.
